Role spotlight: Center of Excellence

Technical Industry Advisor

Technical Industry Advisors are the people customers and partners call when they want to know how Industry 4.0 ideas become working systems on the plant floor. You will advise manufacturers on connecting equipment, modeling operational data and building applications on Fuuz, and bring what you learn back to our product and accelerator teams.

  • Advise customers and partners on smart-manufacturing architecture: connecting equipment, building a unified namespace and modeling operational data
  • Design and demonstrate solutions that apply IoT, automation, analytics and AI to real production problems
  • Analyze current processes and recommend improvements that reduce waste and raise efficiency
  • Work with sales, engineering, partner and customer teams to line up technical solutions with business goals
  • Train customer and partner teams so new systems are adopted and run well
  • Follow emerging Industry 4.0 technology and bring it into our guidance and accelerators

What you bring

BackgroundA degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing, automation or industrial engineering.
Industrial know-howWorking knowledge of industrial protocols and platforms such as MQTT and OPC UA, and of unified namespace concepts.
Plant-floor exposureHands-on time with PLCs, HMI, SCADA or MES.
Data and cloudComfort with SQL and Python, and with cloud platforms.
SecurityAn understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles.
Nice to haveIndustrial or cloud certifications, and customer-facing consulting experience.
